PURPOSE: To enable the clean washing of laver, by using a closed tank, a cylindrical stationary filter connected to and extended from the closed tank along the axial direction, and an outer cylinder surrounding the circumference of the filter, and passing a mixture of laver and seawater through the abovecomponents.

CONSTITUTION: The closed tank 6 fixed horizontally or slantly with the outlet-side upward is furnished with the inlet 13 of the mixture of laver and seawater and the inlet 14 of seawater. Stirring rotary blades 7 are placed at one end pat of the tank 6, and an end of a cylindrical stationary filter 14 extended along the axial direction from the other end of the tank ifs connected to the tank 6. A brush 20 sliding with the filter 15 is attached to the outer circumference of a cylindrical rotary member 19 palced coaxially in the filter, and an outer cylinder 3 is placed outside of the filter keeping a gap therebetween. A drain valve 17 is attached to the draining port 16 opened at the lower part of the outer cylinder 3, and the other end of the filter 15 is connected to an end of a laver-delivery guide member 22 furnished with a squeezing part 22b having cross-section narrowing toward the outlet of the laver. A laver-delivery port 24 is attached to the other end of the guide member 22.
