Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for controlling the discharge of fluid which can efficiently operate a steam ejector with a simple structure.
SOLUTION: While a water level is rising until a control rod 10 engaged with a stopper member 25 at an upper engaging portion 23 engages with a lower engaging portion 24, an operating rod 7 is in a fixed state and a steam ejector 1 is stopped. When the lower engaging portion 24 of the control rod 10 engages with a stopper member 25, the fixing of the operating rod 7 is released and the operating rod 7 quickly rises in accordance with the rise of the water level. This fully opens a ball valve 2 and the steam ejector 1 starts to operate with a high efficiency. When the water level falls, the control rod 10 and a control float 9 fall. The operation rod 7 and a control float 6 do not fall because they are engaged with the stopper member 25. The ball valve 2 continues to operate with a high efficiency. When the water level falls until the control rod 10 engages with the stopper member 25 at the upper engaging portion 23, the fixing of the operating rod 7 is released and the control float 6 quickly falls by its weight to stop the steam ejector 1.
