PURPOSE: To simplify constitution and to enhance measuring preciseness, by a method wherein the instantaneous value of an electric circuit is sampled to be subjected to digital conversion and, thereafter, a signal exhibiting vairous electric energies such as an effective value or the like is obtained by operation.
CONSTITUTION: A measured value converting apparatus 1 samples the input In from a transformer for a gauge or a current transformer at a proper time interval by a sampling circuit 2. The sampled signal is converted to a digital signal by an analogue digital converter 3 and the digital signal is stored in the predetermined address in a memory part 6 under the control of the control operation part of a central treating apparatus 4. An instantaneous value obtained by sampling the input analogue signal In is subjected to operation treatment by the central treating apparatus 4 and converted to a signal exhibiting various electric energies such as an effective value or the like to obtain an output signal S. Three functions of a coverting function and a scaling function requring a display type gauge and a trnsmission format fabricating and transmission treating function requiring an information transmitting apparatus can be performed by a single microprocessor.
