To enable a mere installing of one unit of die cooling device around a die-casting machine to satisfy a cooling operation in the case that a cooling pattern is changed in response to the cooling location at a die or also in the case that the die is replaced with a new one to add a new cooling system and to enable a cooling pattern to be easily changed to a desired pattern for every cooling location at the die only through an operation of one switch.
Solenoid valves 1a, 1b,... for high pressure water for use in feeding high pressure cooling water to a water feeding passage 6 connected to a water supplying source 5 are connected in parallel with solenoid valves 2a, 2b,... for low pressure water for use in feeding low pressure cooling water. Outlets of these solenoid valves for high pressure cooling water and solenoid valves for low pressure cooling water are connected to each other to form cooling water supplying passages 3a, 3b,.... Each of the solenoid valves for high pressure water and the solenoid valves for low pressure water is controlled independently to supply the cooling water into the cooling hole in the die through the cooling water supplying passage.
