To enhance quality of a timber or a woody material and to efficiently, economically produce a product having a high added value by providing a mechanism for rotatably moving a cutter by an external force and a mechanism for suppressing a rotatably vibrating sound of the cutter almost without generating chips in cutting and dividing.
Tool cutters are respectively mounted at cutter holders 3, 4. The holder 3 is rotatably vibrated by a rotatably moving eccentric cam of a belt 8 by a motor 7. Then, the holder 4 simultaneously rotatably vibrates. A material 5 to be cut is moved on a surface plate 15, passed between a suppressing roller and a feeding roller, and cut and divided. Further, an automatic controller 16 or the like is provided to control a rotational speed of the motor 7 and an amplitude of the cutter. The each cutter has a knife state without saw set, and almost no chip in the case of cutting and dividing. To suppress a rotatably vibrating sound, the cutter is formed in a sawtooth-like state at its cutting edge.
