Abstract:

To provide a fixing means enabling essentially easier operation in an apparatus for detachably attaching a doctor blade holder of a papermaking facility to a supporting member.

The apparatus for detachably fixing a doctor blade holder in a papermaking facility can set a doctor blade attached to a supporting guide roller for wire, felt or paper web to a proper position relative to the supporting guide roller by an action device. Furthermore, the holder for a doctor blade is moved on the supporting member of the holder by guiding essentially along the axial direction of the supporting guide roller and fixed to the supporting member at the action position. A pressure hose is placed between the doctor blade holder and the supporting member. The doctor blade holder can be fixed to the supporting member by the pressure hose.
