Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dry waste food such as leftover rice to a degree not generating spoilage so as to fit the same to a raw material of feed.
SOLUTION: Solid residue such as waste food is charged in the charging chamber 4 within a main body case 1 to be ground by a grinder 12 to as to be easily predried and the ground residue to be treated is introduced into a drying chamber 5 by opening an on-off shutter 10 and the object to be treated is stirred and dried by a stirrer 12 while the drying air generated by a drying air generator 7 is circulated and, after the moisture of the treated article is reduced to a predetermined ratio or less, this article is stored in a treated article storage chamber 6 to be subjected to batch treatment. By this constitution, the waste food can be rapidly ground and dried without generating spoilage during preservation to form a treated material suitable for a feed stock material.
