PURPOSE: To provide a dust removing apparatus, wherein the abrasion of a rake and a screen are reduced and vibration and noise are hardly generated by contacting the rake with a bottom plate and the screen by the own weight thereof to eliminate operation for scraping up dusts as well as forcible rubbing with the bottom plate and the screen.

CONSTITUTION: The guide roller 19 of a rake arm 17' is contacted with a guide plate 25 and said arm 17' are gradually returned while rotated to a counterclockwise direction around an attachment 15'. In this state, when a chain 14' is further run, the arm 17' is protruded to a front surface side but, because a roller 19 is parted from the plate 25 when the chain 14' is turned around a chain sprocket 5', rotated to a clockwise direction by the own weight thereof to bring a rake 8 into contact with the upper surface of a bottom plate 3. When the chain 14' is further run, the rake 18 is moved while contacted with the upper surface of the plate 3 to scrape up dusts thereon and dusts engaged with the surface of the screen 8 are further scraped up along the screen 8 to discharge both dusts hindward of the screen 8.
