To provide an apparatus for ejecting a fluid material in which a driving shaft for driving a pump can be radially disconnected from a coupling and further can be radially inserted into the coupling during the assembly.

The apparatus for ejecting the fluid material is provided with a frame, a container for receiving the material, a pump connected to the container for conveying the material to a connection part from which the fluid material can be ejected and wherein the pump has at least one rotatable pump element that can be driven by a rotatable drive shaft, a drive motor and a coupling disposed between the drive shaft and the drive motor. The coupling is radially detachable, in relation to the rotational axis of the drive shaft, from the drive shaft for driving the pump.
