Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily adjust the height of a step board in performing an ascending and descending exercise by providing a spacer capable of selectively adjusting the height via the change of the distance of a platform above a base member. CONSTITUTION: A spacer 36 is detachably fitted between a platform 14 and a base member 16. In addition, the spacer 36 is positioned at the end of the platform 14 and extended completely across the existing area of the platform 14. In this case, the spacer 36 is detachably fitted by forming cross type through- holes 38 and 40 thereon, and each of the through-holes 38 and 40 is sized to allow the smooth insertion of pins. According to this construction, the spacer 36 may be attached horizontally or in a horizontal posture, or upright or in an upright posture. In some cases, the spacer 36 may be completely eliminated.
