Abstract:

To highly precisely fill a particulate by preventing the particulate from forming lumps and adhering on the outer peripheral edge of an opening edge part of the apex of a feeding cylinder.

An apparatus for filling the particulate comprises a hopper for storing the particulate, the feeding cylinder 20 having a top end communicating with the hopper, and an auger spindle 30 having a spiral fin 31 on the peripheral face and rotating in the hollow part of the feeding cylinder 20. The granular matter fed into the feeding cylinder 20 from the hopper is discharged from an opening part 21 of the apex of the feeding cylinder 20 by rotating the auger spindle 30. The apparatus is further provided with a scraper 40 for scraping a discharged article sticking on the outer peripheral edge 21a of the opening part of the apex of the feeding cylinder 20 and making it fall down. The scraper 40 is mounted on the apex of the auger spindle 30 and is composed of a rod-like body integrally rotating with the auger spindle 30. This scraper 40 is rotated on a track which is more outside of the opening part 21 of the apex of the feeding cylinder 20 and faces closely to the outer peripheral edge 21a of the opening part of the apex.
