PURPOSE: To make mass production possible very simply by winding paper certainly and smoothly around the spindle in such a manner that the peripheral speed of the auxiliary roller is lower relative to that of the spindle and the paper is fastened to the spindle periphery.

CONSTITUTION: A cylindrical part 19 forms the first opening 40 into which paper is introduced and the second opening 41 into which an auxiliary roller 6 is inserted. The second opening 41 is positioned behind the first opening 40 in the spindle rotating direction. An inclined surface 39 is formed behind the second opening 41 of the cylindrical part 19 in the spindle rotating direction. A bridge is formed from this inclined surface 39 in the peripheral direction across the second and first openings 41 and 40. An auxiliary roller 6 which is greater in diameter than a spindle 2 and low in peripheral speed is in contact with the spindle 2 at the second opening 41. This arrangement permits paper to be wound around the spindle certainly and smoothly and mass production to be accomplished very easily.
