Title:
APPARATUS FOR INCREASING TRANSFER OF HEAT ENERGY THROUGH INNER SURFACE OF HOLLOW CYLINDRICAL DRIER IN PAPERMAKING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2004162242
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an apparatus for increasing transfer of heat energy through an inner wall surface of a hollow cylindrical drier in a papermaking machine to a peripheral outer wall surface of the drier, and to provide a method for simply assembling the apparatus.

This apparatus is equipped with a plurality of hollow bars 18 to 35, wherein each of the bars has a rectangular cross-sectional shape and extends in the drier 14 in the axial direction. The bars are arranged in parallel to each other at a specified distance, and are each immobilized against the inner wall surface 12 in the outward direction, and further the bars are surrounded with an enclosing material in their peripheral areas, so that the inside of the arranged bars is made to be hollow. The enclosing material extends in the axial direction of the drier. The apparatus is thus structured, so that a heat transfer effect of condensed water rotated together with the apparatus through an water tank is improved, when the apparatus is rotated at a high speed.
