To provide an apparatus for kneading paste, capable of preventing foreign matters generated by abrasion from mixing with paste.
The apparatus 100 for kneading paste includes a container 110 for paste 170 to be stored having been kneaded and stirred. The container 110 includes an inflow port 111c disposed above the liquid surface LF of the paste 170 stored therein to allow the paste 170 to flow thereinto. A feeding means 150 of feeding the paste 170 to the inflow port 111c is disposed outside the container 110. A thin-film forming means 160 is disposed inside the container 110 to form a thin film 171 alongside the inner wall face 111b of the container 110, from the paste 170 fed thereinto via the inflow port 111c. The thin-film forming means 160 includes a scraper 161 that thinly spreads the paste 170 fed thereinto via the inflow port 111c and a spacer 162 that contacts the inner wall face 111b and determines a gap T1 between the scraper 161 and the inner wall face 111b.
