Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily and accurately control a region to be heated with laser, by selecting one of laser generators for treatment with different wavelengths.
CONSTITUTION: A laserthermia apparatus 1 includes a main body 2 wherein plural laser generators 3W5 are provided in parallel. The laser generators 3, 4 and 5 radiate He-Ne laser as guide rays, CO2 gas laser for treatment and YAG laser for treatment, respectively. The main body 2 also includes a control device 21 for regulating the laser generators 4 and 5. The control device 21 selects one of the generators 4 and 5 to activate it, on the basis of temperature data sent from temperature sensors 22 and 23.
