Abstract:

To provide an apparatus for manufacturing an embossed decorative sheet and a method for manufacturing the embossed decorative sheet preventing occurrence of wrinkles on the sheet without being pulled toward a pressurizing roll after the sheet is pinched and pressed between an embossing roll and the pressurizing roll.

The apparatus 10 for manufacturing the embossed decorative sheet includes a heating device 11 heating a sheet 20 and the embossing roll 12 formed with irregular patterns 12a on the surface. The pressurizing roll 13 forming the irregular patterns on the sheet 20 by pinching and pressing the heated sheet 20 between the embossing roll 12 and itself is provided at a position facing the embossing roll 12. A guide belt 16 closely fit to the sheet 20 is provided between the embossing roll 12 and pressurizing roll 13, moving and guiding the formed sheet 20 to the embossing roll 12.
