Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce measuring errors, to detect the occurrence of the errors, faults and the like when they occur and to ensure the measurement. CONSTITUTION:A measuring apparatus has a main body 11 of the measuring apparatus, a display device 12, an input device 13 and a marker 4. A first encoder 20, a first counter 21, a second encoder 22 and second counter 23 are provided. The first co-length measuring means is formed of the first encoder 20 and the first counter 21. The second co-length measuring means is formed of the second encoder 22 and the second counter 23. Furthermore, four mark detecting means, i.e., a first sensor 24 and its ADC 25, a second sensor 26 and its ADC 27, a third sensor 28 and its ADC 29 and a fourth sensor 30 and its ADC 31 are provided. The device which is operating normally is used, and the measurement is performed.
