Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method for adjusting a length of a protruding blade edge of a boring blade tool with high accuracy at a low cost.SOLUTION: A direction of pressing a blade tool against V-surfaces 4, 4 is orthogonal to a direction in which a blade edge of the blade tool presses a spindle 11. A machining hole can be obtained with high accuracy, while eliminating the influence of an error between a diameter of a shaft part of a master blade tool and a diameter of a shaft part of a boring blade tool on adjustment of length of a protruding blade edge. Both tolerance of the diameter of the shaft part of the master blade tool and tolerance of the diameter of the shaft part of the boring blade tool are lessened, thereby reducing manufacturing costs of the master blade tool and the boring blade tool.
