Abstract:
To provide an apparatus and a method for decomposing and detoxifying an organic solution.
The apparatus for decomposing the organic solution is composed of a reaction vessel (11) to which the organic solution is supplied and a plurality of electric conductor blocks (121) arranged in the reaction vessel. Each of electric conductor blocks consists of a group of blocks to each of which metal salt is stuck. A microwave irradiation means (13) is arranged for irradiating the plurality of electric conductor blocks with a microwave to generate a microwave discharge between the adjacent ones so that the organic solution is volatilized and decomposed by metal plasma.
