Abstract:
To provide a pesticide residue decomposition device and a pesticide residue decomposition method for crops, capable of decomposing pesticide in a state in which a labor, time and a space are reduced, achieving excellent processing capacity, sufficiently decomposing pesticide not only on an outside of a crop but also on an inside of the crop, and holding a quality of the crop.SOLUTION: A pesticide residue decomposition device 1 for crops comprises: a pair of an upper electrode 14 and a lower electrode 10 which are arranged so as to hold a crop 42 to which a pesticide residue is adhered; a vacuum tank 4 including therein, the crop 42, the upper electrode 14 and the lower electrode 10; a vacuum pump 26 for setting an interior state of the vacuum tank 4 to a vacuum state; and a high frequency power source 22 for being electrically coupled to the upper electrode 14 and the lower electrode 10 through a matching circuit 20. The matching circuit 20 applies high frequency power generated by the high frequency power source 22 to the upper electrode 14 and the lower electrode 10 so that plasma is generated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
