Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for degassing liquid crystal by which a liquid crystal can be efficiently degassed using a vibration mechanism, and to provide a method of degassing the liquid crystal using the apparatus.
SOLUTION: The apparatus for degassing liquid crystal is characterized in that it includes a chamber having a lid which can be opened and closed, a first means disposed in the chamber to hold at least two liquid crystal syringes, a second means to apply vibrating and rotating force to the chamber, a third means to create a vacuum state in the chamber, a fourth means to restore the chamber to atmospheric pressure and a main body supporting the chamber and the second means.
