Abstract:

To provide an apparatus and a method for digging up waste materials buried in the ground for waste disposal that can prevent dust and malodor from leaking using a simple device with wide application.

The apparatus 1 for digging up waste materials 20 buried in the ground 17 for waste disposal has a covering 3 that covers an area to be dug of the ground 17 for waste disposal and is equipped with dollies 19 movable in all directions. A movable heavy machine 5 to be used for digging, a sorter 7 to separate combustibles from the waste materials 20 dug up by the heavy machine 5 and a conveyor to bury again a waste material 20 that is not supposed to be transferred to the outside of the covering 3 are placed in the covering 3. The covering 3 is equipped with overhangs 83 and 85 protruding in all directions from the dollies 19. Thus, the apparatus has a compact and simple constitution.
