A server 101 for distributing the multimedia contents stores the the multimedia contents in a multimedia content memory 104, allocates a service identifier to each multimedia content being stored, relates a geographical area identifier to the service identifier, and generates a message for distributing the multimedia contents. The message for distributing the contents comprises the identifier and the address, which relate to the multimedia contents, an also the service identifier. The server distributes the message for the distribution to the geographical areas related to the multimedia contents.
