Abstract:
PURPOSE: To disclose an apparatus and method for feeding a printed product within a rotary press.
CONSTITUTION: A printed product 2 is gripped by the gripper means on a paper guide cylinder 3 to be fed to a fan wheel 9 having a plurality of fan wheel discs prescribed by a plurality of fan blades 12. The fan blades 12 separate the printed product directly from the outer peripheral surface of the paper guide cylinder 3. The printed product 2 is guided into the fan wheel pocket 13 formed between the adjacent fan blades 12 as separated from the paper guide cylinder 3 to be decelerated.
