Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for flocculating, separating and recovering particles where impurity solid particles contained in the slurry of a drainage, polluted water and the like are flocculated without applying a direct-current electric field and the floc of the impurity solid particles is continuously recovered from the slurry by performing solid-liquid separation without using a flocculant and a complex device.SOLUTION: An apparatus for flocculating, separating and recovering particles is equipped with a separation vessel and a pair of electrodes applying an electric field to at least a part of the inside of the separation vessel. The separation vessel has a slurry inflow port, a sediment outflow port to flow out the sediment of flocculated particles where the particles are flocculated by applying the electric field, and a supernatant outflow port to flow out separated supernatant. The sediment outflow port is arranged at a lower part of the separation vessel in a vertical direction and the supernatant outflow port is arranged at an upper part of the separation vessel in a vertical direction.
