Abstract:
To provide a proof forming apparatus and a proof forming method by which the tone of an objective printed material is accurately and stably reproduced and dots are easily checked in a relatively simple configuration, and to provide an apparatus and a method for forming a proof suitable for a printed material using a printing sheet such as art paper in particular.
The apparatus produces a proof of a printed material as an ensemble of dots based on the image data of the printed material using YMCK printing plates. A color defined by 100 dot% of a print color is formed in a specified range in the color space and by using two or more kinds of dots having the density difference of ≥0.01 and ≤0.5.
