Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately equivalently supply a liquid material to the inner wall surface of a tube of a freeze dryer of the state for providing an upright cylindrical tube in the dryer with a simple constitution and to accurately control a cooling means so as to freeze the liquid material supplied into the tube in an equivalent thickness to the inner wall surface of the tube.
SOLUTION: A method for freeze drying food/chemical or the like comprises the steps of providing the upright cylindrical tube for freezing the liquid material connected to the lower surface side of a chamber for communicating with a cold trap which communicates with a vacuum exhaust system through a duct in such a manner as to suspend the tube from the inner wall surface, providing a jacket for cooling the tube by circulating a heating medium to an interior via an inlet tube and an outlet tube communicating with a heat exchanger on the outer periphery of the tube, arranging nozzles each having a jet port for injecting the liquid material to the inner wall surface of the tube in the chamber, and connecting the upper end side to a duct to which the liquid material is transferred.
