Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for mixing coating materials by which, when for example two-package coating material is applied in a large amount, the coating material can be mixed efficiently according to a schedule.
SOLUTION: This apparatus has supply tanks 1 and 2 holding the starting coating materials, feed supply valves 4 and 5 which open or shut the outputs from the tanks 1 and 2, a mixing tank for temporarily holding the feed coating materials, an agitation section 7, a mixed coating material supply valve 6 which opens or shut the outputs from the tank 3, a control section 19 and a withdrawal section 9. The control section controls the feed coating materials so that they may be mixed in a specified ratio.
