Abstract:

To enable more interesting photographing.

When a user is photographing while holding an object prepared in the vicinity of an image printing apparatus 1, an RGB value of the object previously registered is compared with the RGB value of the respective pixels of the image photographed by a CCD 13. The area of the object in the photographed image is extracted. The image of the object with the area extracted is substituted by the image of a bat which is a tool for baseball or the image in which the stars are arranged or the like. The obtained composite image is displayed on an image display 14. The user photographs while confirming the composite image(animation image) displayed in real time. This device and the method can be applied to the image printing apparatus as an automatic photographic seal vending machine.
