Abstract:
To provide an apparatus and method for producing a fullerene, capable of enhancing the yield rate of fullerene.SOLUTION: An apparatus for producing fullerene includes: a reactor 10 for producing fullerene through imperfect combustion of a hydrocarbon raw material; a fullerene recovery device 13a for recovering the produced fullerene; connection passages 35 and 36 for connecting the reactor and the fullerene recovery device; and water-introducing means 12 for introducing a water-containing fluid into the connection passages.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
