To provide an apparatus for producing an internally grooved tube in which an internal groove with a stable shape in a longitudinal direction can be formed at a low production cost, and to provide a method for producing an internally grooved tube using the production apparatus.
The production apparatus 1 for an internally grooved tube is provided with a reduction part 2, a rolling part 3 and a shaping part 4. The rolling part 3 is provided with a rolling ball 10 and a grooving plug 12, and is provided with a lubricating oil feeding apparatus 8 of feeding lubricating oil 22 as water soluble oil to the outside surface of a metallic tube 51, and a bearing flange 11 of removing the lubricating oil 22 from the outside surface of the metallic tube 51. The bearing flange 11 has an annular shape, and the metallic tube 51 is allowed to pass through the opening part thereof. Then, the inside surface of the bearing flange 11 has a tapered shape, and its inside diameter is set so that the inside surface is contacted with the outside surface of the metallic tube 51, and also, the reduction ratio thereof to the metallic tube 51 is controlled to ≤1%.
