To provide a method for removing/separating valuable resources such as a heavy metal and a heavy metal compound from a high temperature gas containing a vapor of a heavy metal and a heavy metal compound, to recover/recycle them, while minimizing oxidation of a recovered substance and contamination by impurities.
This apparatus has an agglomerating unit 12 in a lower part of a gas condensation cooling unit 7, in which the low-melting valuable sources in a powder form are converted into a briquette form and are collected. In this embodiment, a roll type of the agglomerating unit 12 is used. As described above, the low-melting valuable resources are taken out as a powder at first and are formed into the briquette form with the agglomeration unit 12. Thereby, the collected low-melting valuable sources have a smaller specific surface area than the one collected as the powder, consequently are collected in a hardly oxidized state, and are superior in a transportation property and a handleability.
