Abstract:
PURPOSE: To efficiently, effectively separate and recover a used rubber crawler to rubber and mandrels to reuse the used rubber crawler.
CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for separating and recovering rubber crawler comprises a conveyor 12 for conveying a bandlike rubber crawler 11 containing rubber and a plurality of mandrels in a horizontal attitude in its longitudinal direction, heating means for heating the crawler 11 during conveying to reduce the strength of the rubber, cutting means 21 for forming cutouts to laterally treat the rubber reduced in the strength, and separating means 23a, 23b for laterally separating the rubber, wherein the rubber is laterally separated to take out mandrels in the rubber to separate it to the rubber and the mandrels to be recovered.
