Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily set a coupling assembly for compressive anastomosis by combining a rotary cutter device and arranging a fixing means, a matching means and an orientating means with specified constitutions. CONSTITUTION: A knob 18 and a pin 54 positioned on an end of a handle are moved, to compress a tissue between coupling members 42 and 44. If an end of a fixing element 22 is inserted into a recess 52, a movable element 50 is not rotated and the knob 18, the pin 54 and a core 28 are fixed, thus a coupling member 42 is fixed. A coupling member 46 is positioned on an end of a tab 72 of a driver 70. A cutter 80 is positioned on a step part 75, and a tab 72 is pushed forward until the coupling member 46 is combined within a coupling member 44 by a snap action, to fix coupling members 42, 44 and 46 to one another. The cutter 80 cuts the tissue and the coupling members.
