When an operation switch SW1 is operated by an operator, a solenoid valve 9a is operated, and a compressed air is introduced into an air cylinder 8. A controller 9c designates an electropneumatic converter 9b to lower a pressure of the air flowing into the cylinder 6a, and the converter 9d lowers an air pressure to a pressure capable of supporting a blanket cylinder 2, an arm 7 and the like. An applied pressure between the cylinder 2 and a plate cylinder 1 is lowered substantially simultaneously when the cylinder 2 is separated from an impression cylinder 3 and a web 4. As a result, the cylinder 2 is separated from the cylinder 3 and the web 4 in the state that the cylinder 2 is brought into contact with the cylinder 1. Even if the cylinder 8 drives the cylinder 2 in a direction (F direction) opposed to a direction (E direction) for urging the cylinder 1 to the cylinder 2 by the cylinder 6, the cylinder 1 and the cylinder 2 can be moved by a small driving force.
