Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for a stripper plate without disturbing the withdrawal of a needle from a fibrous web and without disturbing the feed of the fibrous web in an apparatus for needle punching of the precured fibrous web.
SOLUTION: This apparatus for needle punching of a fibrous web is equipped with at least one needle board 3 capable of being reciprocated and driven in the piercing direction and a fibrous web carrier plate 2, located between inserting rollers 7 and takeout rollers 8 and opposite to the needle board 3. In order to eliminate the need for a stripper plate, the needle board 3 is installed directly opposite to the continuously protrusively curved fibrous web carrier plate 2 in the fibrous web passage direction 6. The takeout speed of the takeout rollers 8 exceeds the feed speed of the inserting rollers 7.
