Abstract:
PURPOSE: To rapidly cut a sliver and keep a sliver piecing part constant by arranging total four sliver clamping units of two units on each side sandwiching piecing members, operating the sliver clamping units in a specific state and cutting the s liver.
CONSTITUTION: Total four sliver clamping units 19, 20, 21 and 22 of two units on each side are arranged to sandwich piecing members 30 and 36 for piecing a sliver by the rubbing operation. The two clamping units located on the diagonal lines are simultaneously rotated in the direction to mutually separate and the sliver is then cut.
