Title:
APPARATUS FOR PREVENTING LIQUID FROM BEING EXCESSIVELY FED TO TANK
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000177799
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a valve which is simple in structure and free from occurrence of a water hammer when the valve is closed in an apparatus for preventing liquid from being excessively fed to an underground tank, including the valve for opening/closing a liquid passage to a feed pipe connecting between feed hose connection port on the ground and the underground tank.

The apparatus has a feed hose from a lorry and a feed port metal fitting 1, and a body coupled with a feed pipe 2 to an underground tank and has a shield 5 equipped with a fluid passage operable in the body and coupled actuators 6, 7, 8, 9 coupled with a driving source 12 for rotating the shield 5. The driving source 12 for rotating the shield may include an electric means such as a motor which operates to open/close a valve by a signal issued from a stock sensing means when an amount of injected liquid reaches a preset level of the underground tank or a cylinder activated by pressurized fluid such as compressed air.
