To provide a new apparatus for producing a crystal model capable of inexpensively and easily producing the crystal model which characterizes the positional relations of the atoms in the crystal and enables a user to have the knowledge on the actual crystalline state, such as the sizes of the gaps among the atoms, crystal structural distortions and others.
This crystal structure model has a frame body consisting of supporting columns 1 erected perpendicularly on a base plate in arrangement of a plane square shape or rectangular shape and stationary horizontal members 3 for fixing these supporting columns 1. The model described above has a moving section consisting of movable horizontal crossing members 5 which are supported at the supporting columns 1 freely vertically movably between the supporting columns 1, a horizontal moving member 6 which is spanned between the opposite parts thereof and is formed freely horizontally movable and an atom model disposing terminal member 10 which is mounted at this horizontal moving member 6 and is formed freely horizontally movable and vertically movable. The atom model held at the atom model disposing terminal member 10 is arranged in the prescribed position by making this moving section freely movable in three-dimensional directions relative to the frame body.
