To provide an apparatus for producing a metallic powder, which can surely keep a flow rate of a fluid jetted from an orifice almost constant.
The apparatus 1A for producing the metallic powder comprises a supplying section 2 for supplying a molten metal (Q), and a nozzle 3. The nozzle 3 comprises: a first flow path 31 that is arranged in a lower part of the supplying section 2, can pass the molten metal (Q) supplied from the supplying section 2 therethrough, and has an inner-diameter-decreasing portion 33 of which the inner diameter gradually decreases toward the lower part; and the orifice which opens at a lower end of the first flow path 31 and jets the fluid to the first flow path 31. The nozzle 3 further comprises: a first member 4 which partitions the orifice; and a second member 5 which is arranged in the lower part of the first member 4 through a gap 37. The nozzle 3 has a clamp 6A arranged therein which inhibits the orifice from expanding due to a pressure of the fluid passing through the orifice.
