To provide an apparatus for producing a mixed gas, wherein when the mixed gas is mass-produced which acts as a raw material for FT reaction by electrolysis of an electrolyte that contains CO2, production efficiency is prevented from degrading due to larger size of the apparatus.
An H2O concentration of an electrolyte in a mixing tank 20 is set low, and then H2O required for an anode 34b or the like is added appropriately. As shown in Fig.9, if H2O is added from between the anodes 34a and 34b, the H2O concentration increases temporarily on an upstream side of the anode 34b. Thus, if the required amount of H2O is added from the upstream side of the anode 34b, the CO2 concentration in the electrolyte is prevented from lowering due to the H2O while securing the production amount of the mixed gas in a cathode 32b.
