PURPOSE: To economically produce a thin-walled container having a multilayered structure without collapsing layered constitution while reducing the generation of scrap as low as possible.
CONSTITUTION: An injection molding machine equipped with a pair of molds is arranged on an injection molding stage A. At the time of mold clamping, an injection space is formed between molds. A sheet piece supply device 70 punches a long sheet material 3 to form one sheet piece and applies the sheet piece to either one of the molds in the injection molding machine before mold clamping. After mold clamping, a resin is injected in the injection space to produce a preform having a multilayered structure wherein an injection resin layer is laminated to the sheet piece. The preform receives plug assist molding processing in a container molding stage C to obtain an objective product container having a multilayered thin-walled structure.
