PURPOSE: To obtain an apparatus for eliminating a protecting group of an organic synthetic substance capable of applying to peptide synthesis by a solid phase method, surely grasping advancing condition of the reaction and simply operating.
CONSTITUTION: This apparatus for producing an organic synthetic substance by reacting an intermediate product of the organic synthetic substance to which a protecting group is added is the one to eliminate the protecting group from the intermediate product by using a deprotecting reagent. The apparatus has a reaction vessel 7 for reacting the intermediate product with a deprotecting reagent, a detector 9 for detecting a protecting group and/or the organic synthetic substance and a transporting means 8 in a circulation circuit. In this apparatus, a vessel 2 of the intermediate product and a vessel 4 of deprotecting group reagent are branched and connected to the circulation circuit to introduce the intermediate product and the deprotecting reagent into the circulating circuit by a feeding means of an innert gas connected to these vessels 2 and 4. The organic synthetic substance produced in the reaction vessel 7 is taken out from a discharge pipe 11 branched from the circulation circuit.
