Abstract:
To provide an apparatus for removing oxide scale deposited on a floor of a heating furnace.
The apparatus for removing deposited oxide scale in a heating furnace comprises a self-traveling truck 1 having a revolvable base 2, a scale removing conveyor 3 having a plurality of scrapers 3a mounted on an outer periphery of an endless link chain to scrape the scale on a floor of the furnace, and a scale recovering means having a hopper 4 or a belt conveyor placed similarly on the base 2 to recover the scale scraped by the conveyor 3.
