Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject apparatus for treating slacks processed by a setting agent applicator or a press, having a pair of C-formed frames supported by crossing braces and a rodless cylinder and provided with a mobile gripper moved by a trolley and a vertically movable slacks stacker. SOLUTION: A pair of C-formed frames 2, 3 are supported by crossing braces 4, 5 and a rodless cylinder 25, a mobile gripper 48 is moved by a trolley 40 and a slacks stacker 34 is vertically moved by a driving means. The gripper 48 can be turned 90 deg. by an actuator 45 to grip the lower ends of the slacks and moved with the rodless cylinder 25 to stretch the slacks. The upper part of the slacks is turned upside down by the slacks stacker 34 and the slacks are flattened by rotating the gripper 48 and released. The freed slacks are dropped by gravitational force and placed on rods 23, 27.
