Abstract:
PURPOSE: To quickly and accurately slice a raw adductor of a scallop into a prescribed number of slices.
CONSTITUTION: Circular disks 20 each having a number of circular holes 14 are stacked one upon another interposing spacer disks to form an disk assembly. A prescribed number of slicing blades 16 are inserted into the gaps formed by the spacer disks. The adductor in the circular hole 14 is brought into contact with the slicing blades 16 and sliced into a prescribed number of slices by rotating the disks 20.
