Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooked rice stirring apparatus enabling uniform and sufficient mixing or loosening of cooked rice and installable on a narrow space.
SOLUTION: The cooked rice stirring apparatus is provided with a conveyor belt to carry the cooked rice to be stirred and transfer the rice in a definite direction, 1st and 2nd bladed stirring wheels each having a rotary shaft and plural stirring blades radially extending from the shaft and placed at the downstream of the cooked rice receiving position on the conveyor belt positioning the rotary shafts parallel to each other and at a same height, a mechanism to rotate the 1st bladed stirring wheel positioned closer to the cooked rice receiving position in the normal rotating direction to transfer the rice on the conveyor in the transfer direction, and a mechanism to rotate the 2nd bladed stirring wheel in a freely switchable manner in normal direction to transfer the rice on the conveyor in the transfer direction or in a reverse direction to thrust back the rice.
