Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable perishable food to be sold by the piece, stored and sold by selecting desired food, taking out a part of the selected food according to the control of a control system and sending a part of the hood automatically to a predetermined position.
CONSTITUTION: A great amount of foods A are mounted respectively on pallets 7 arranged on show cases 8. A slicer 9 capable of slicing the food, for example beaf or the like is provided to move horizontally and vertically respectively along straight guides 10, 11 by a drive means and thereby cut out the selected food. A control system for moving the slicer 9 consists of a computer section accomodated in a central unit 1. If necessary, a portion of the food may be pressed outward of a container section, received in a tray-like receptacle and moved to a take-out position. The central unit 1 displays the information and has an operating panel and opening part so that a customer can take out a portion of the selected food from the opening part without needing other hands.
