Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce a dropping distance of molten magnesium and to prevent the oxidation of the molten magnesium by making the chance to contact with the surrounding outer air, by joining a spouting part of a molten metal supplying pipe to the incliningly stood-up molten metal supplying pipe through a vertical spouting tube and joining a movable tube so as to be freely ascended/descended in the vertical direction to the spouting tube.
CONSTITUTION: The spouting part 14T of the molten metal supplying pipe 14 at the outside of a furnace is joined to the incliningly stood-up molten metal supplying pipe 14 at the outside of the furnace through the vertical spouting tube 14A and also, the movable tube 14M so as to be ascended/descended is joined to the spouting tube 14A. Then, the distance between the lower end of the spouting part 14T and the molten metal surface in a die casting sleeve 20 is drastically shortened at the time of supplying the molten metal. Further, the contact of the supplied molten magnesium with the outer air is reduced and the oxidation and the combustion are drastically reduced by covering the lower end of the spouting part 14T with the die casting sleeve 20. Then, combustion-preventing gas is blown into the spouting tube 14A and the movable tube 14M during supplying the molten magnesium into the die casting sleeve.
