Abstract:
PURPOSE: To suppress the obstruction of bacterial action due to fluorine and to prevent the formation of calcium carbonate in a nitration apparatus to efficiently perform the whole of biological nitrogen removing reaction in a waste water treatment apparatus removing nitrogen and fluorine from nitrogen and fluorine-containing waste water by using a biological denitrifying method using nitrifying bacteria and denitrifying bacteria and a fluorine removing method using a calcium compd.
CONSTITUTION: A biological nitrating device 2 is arranged to the front stage of a fluorine removing apparatus 12 and a biological denitrifying device 20 is arranged to the rear stage thereof to perform the treatment of nitrogen and fluorine-containing waste water by biological nitration, fluorine removal due to a calcium compd. and biological denitrification. Especially, as the biological nitrating device, a biological film type device using a bacteria carrier 4 wherein a bacteria film is supported on a carrier is used and, as the biological denitrifying device 20, a flotation type device is used.
